Both Geographically and Historically one of the most intriguing nations on the Arabian Peninsula, the Sultanate of Oman possesses many unique differences.
Oman's 12,000 years old civilization is still evident all over the country. Fascinated explorers through the centuries include Ibn Batuta and Marco Polo. This is where the prophet Job was entombed, the Queen of Sheba reigned and Sindbad set sail from.
The Sultanate of Oman has everything to offer tourists - sandy palm-edged beaches, relaxed green oasis, dazzling waterfalls, rugged mountains and orderly cities, marine life, and a vibrant cultural heritage. The spectacular landscape sets it apart from other Gulf Countries.
MUSCAT - The capital of Oman is an ancient walled city, built around a fine natural harbour and encircled by rocky mountains that provide an impressive backdrop to a mixture of traditional and modern architecture. It is the hub of the country's political, economic and cultural commercial affairs.
Musandam Peninsula - The northernmost tip of the Arabian Peninsula, it has been dubbed the "Norway of the Middle East".
